The Sfinx Opportunity 
Limited to fifty women worldwide per year, SFINX (Sophisticated; Feminine; Influential; Networking and X-citement) members are like-minded discerning women from all backgrounds, many countries and continents, committed to empowering themselves and influencing the lives of others through learning, sharing and giving. They come from the corporate, investing or professional worlds; have their own businesses, or have fulfilled their working lives and have other interests and roles. United they will be involved, active, passionate and committed women; wives, mothers, grandmothers, friends, sisters, lovers.
A large part of the Sfinx experience is the opportunity to come together four times a year in extraordinary places around the world to celebrate life and build on skills and resources. Sfinx Women will be propelled into exciting environments and are hosted in an atmosphere of luxury, adventure, self discovery and self expression. The destinations scheduled through to mid-2008 are in sequence, Buenos Aires; Venice; an exotic location in outback Australia; a safari in Africa; the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan; Marrakech in Morocco and Rajasthan in India.
The year 2006 is the start-up year for the Sfinx phenomenon and members joining in the formative years will have the opportunity to shape and guide the underlying mission and values that will frame the future of this exciting venture. The mission includes the concept and practice of contribution and ten percent of annual subscriptions will be directed towards charities for women and children that will impact the way they and their communities live, in the present and into the future.
The vision that encouraged Sfinx Principals Buzz McCarthy Cavalier and Connie Schottky Osterholt to establish Sfinx was essentially to bring together a group of discerning and sophisticated women in an atmosphere of personal development, contribution, abundance and supportive energy. This could only be achieved in locations that invoke a rich tapestry of new experiences and where we can learn, share, support and have amazing fun together. The inspiration for creating Sfinx in large part emerged whilst Connie and Buzz were working together as skilled facilitators and trainers at many worldwide events occasioned by their involvement in the Anthony Robbins organisation, an association that stretches back ten years.
